Outstretched Arms

This ministry was named Outstretched Arms representing not only the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross but also a welcoming embrace.

Everyone faces financial hardships from time to time. Job loss, divorce or medical bills can cause tremendous financial and emotional strain. There are times when you may need encouragement and advice from others who understand your situation. Members of the"Outstretched Arms" ministry may be able to offer financial counseling and/or short-term financial and physical assistance.

To contribute to Outstretched Arms Benevolence Ministry

First, if you know of an individual with a need, please do what you feel led in your heart to do. If God is calling you to give to them, then do it and don't feel obligated to donate through the church office.

If you would like to contribute to the Benvevolence Ministry, you may do so in this way:

At any time during the year, simply place your gift in the weekly offering and enter the amount of your gift on the Benevolence line on the inside of the offering envelope.

The first weekend of every month is designated as Benevolence Weekend. As we celebrate Communion together, we encourage everyone to remember those less fortunate in the Body of Christ with a financial gift to the Outstretched Arms Benevolence Ministry.

Note: You cannot designate your money to an individual when you give to this fund.
